Screen Grabs: Guitar Hero on HIMYM, pants not required

Everybody knows us bloggers are a bunch of pantsless hooligans, but a lesser known fact is that Guitar Hero: Aerosmith comes with a new pants-free mode, as demonstrated in a lengthly sequence on this week's episode of How I Met Your Mother. Problem is, Jason Segel -- who we most fondly remember as Nick the drummer from Freaks and Geeks -- likely wouldn't be caught dead playing Aerosmith on the guitar, so stop trying to mess with our heads CBS. We know the truth.

Actually I cant stand the iPhone, but I will point out that Barney (Neal Patrick Harris) uses the iPhone in this show, which btw is friggin win, and he uses it the correct way and not upside down.

So was he playing GH with an Aerosmith skin, or what he playing GH: Aerosmith because Hollywood-types typically get stuff before us normal types? I wondered that when I saw this episode.

And yes, How I Met Your Mother frequently has a tech gadget here and there. Marshall and Barnie were playing the Wii in a couple of episodes and their cellphones are always "hip."
