I have had no such problem on my BMW 5er. But you would rather complain about something you have no experience with, just to promote your precious little iCrap.

And you think your 3G iPhone with GPS will be safer? One hand holding your iPhone, looking up directions, while holding a picure of Steve Jobs in the other, swooning over him, steering with your knee as you are off to Wal-Mart looking for a black turtle-neck just so you can look like your pretentious little hero.

Engadget, when are you going to start deleting this crap? Over the past few days, you have had postings about pyramid schemes, some guy promoting his favorite crappy music video, and the iEye/clak twins/same person making spamming about the iPhone in every single article , related or not, and have made personal attacks - many of which violates the TOS (click on the link at the bottom if you forgot them). Having a HUD on your screen is a hell of a lot safer than having to divert your eyes off the road to look at a small 3 inch screen.

Not only will everyone have to divert their attention and refocus, but most people will be forced to squint in order to read such a small display.
