Your notebook may be gilded and studded with diamonds, but the operating system is what any user should consider. The negligible differences between hardware components often engross potential buyers, but at the end of the day, the software is key.

I liken it to buying a dog. You can buy the most beautiful specimen, but if it's behaviour atrocious, well, that is what you are going to have to put up with for the next 15 years.
