(by the way the S-VHS connector is gone.)<br><br>The panel is enclosed in a cheap, black boxy plastic frame, with a flimsy looking power button in the corner and an absurd hidden luminiscent row of menu buttons in the right, <br><br>If they want a clear design  why can´t they use a row of buttons behind the frame ?.<br><br>Of course the luxury glass base is also absent, bye bye quality !!!<br><br>The S-PVA Samsung panel is still there but my advice is: if you can still buy an original 2707 go and buy it now !!!!<br><br>EB<br><br><br>Sure the panel (S-PVA from Samsung) is still good but <br>]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Eduardo]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Oct 20th 2009 4:19PM</pubDate></item><item><title><![CDATA[Comments on Dell 2709WFP reviewed but not yet announced]]></title><link>http://www.engadget.com/2008/06/03/dell-2709wfp-reviewed-but-not-yet-announced/</link><guid isPermaLink="true">http://www.engadget.com/2008/06/03/dell-2709wfp-reviewed-but-not-yet-announced/</guid><description><![CDATA[I'm going to buy this thing to replace my 2004wfp solely for the audio pass through -- I've got a klipsch Ultra 5.1 speaker rig laying around and I hope this monitor makes it useful again.  : )<br><br>As others said, pair this thing with an ATI HD 4870 and get some decent gaming without having to break the bank on a $600+ card to run it.<br><br>And if you watch movies... what's the point of anything above 1920x1200 anyways?
