Maybe we'll even see Microsoft being in a position to throw some insults back at Apple without them being dismissed out of hand (I can't think of anything to insult off the top of my head-- maybe they'd just deflect insults instead of hurling them, unless of course they want to bring back the now relatively weak compatibility argument).
I, for one, welcome options in the OS department.
