Sony Ericsson reveals J132 / K330 entry-level candybars
Just when you thought Sony's barrage of new kit from CommunicAsia was finally slowing up, along comes another pair of handsets to prove us all wrong. First up is the simplistic J132, designed to do little more than talk, text, resist dust and tune into FM radio stations. Still, the 9-hours of talk time (450 in standby) is much appreciated. The K330 steps it up by including Bluetooth and a video capture mode, not to mention the 1.7-inch display, VGA camera and Health mate application. The J132 will be available in Night Black and Heaven Blue for "select markets" in Q4, while the K330 arrives in Gold on Black / Green on Black a quarter earlier. Keep an eye out for the J132a and K330a, both of which support GSM 850 / 1900 bands for the US market.

i have always used nokia phones. but i was wrong. in fact they have cheap plastic (which usually after one year goes away by itself), cheap buttons (which usually loose what they have written after one yes...again) and no original design. once you have seen one, you have seen all of them. I like sony ericsson better, they are better built, with no alarming crackle sounds and with better quality materials...even the entry level looks better than the nokia ones...without speaking about the radio...which, in the majority of cases, nokia tends to stuff in expensive models

I don't see why you couldn't imagine that it's blue given that it's an imaginary place.

the equation is pretty much like this:
old model phone + add one/two feature features = BAM! new model release!
old model phone - remove one/two feature features = BAM! new model release!
i believe there was a time, few years ago, that i know all their models, all 4 of them, now i dont know if I can name even half of their existing model.

How true, back in the days Ericsson had something like 3-4 models at the same time, nowadays SE have 67 phones displayed on their homepage.
I'm aware that a phone nowadays can do a lot more than 10 years ago, but I can't stop questioning how economical it may be to design and manufacture so many different phones.
Instead of just trying to design a few superior models they seem to try to drown the market making choice close to impossible.

they'll be big with the "I just want a cheap phone" crowd.
