They said DVI-D, which means there is no HDCP support and thus no support for playing Blu-rays, HD-DVDs, or even upscaled DVDs via DVI/HDMI (as upscaling DVD players still require HDCP-compliant displays even to play DVDs even though DVDs have no AACS code). Card Reader? WTF cares? I have a card reader on my PC. Why the hell would I need yet ANOTHER card reader??? Unless I wanted to brag about having a gazillion USB ports. I already have 10 USB ports straight from the motherboard.

"BTW, DVI-I is digital not analog."

Again evidence that you are an utter complete DUMBASS!!! DVI-I can take a digital OR analog signal you dipshit! Look it up you MORON!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface

DVI-A Analog
DVI-I Analoy OR Digital
DVI-D Digital

"And every techie/nerd knows that only DVI-I allows HDCP, DVI-D doesn't. The reason why you don't see specific HDMI->DVI-D adapters is because you could use HDMI->DVI-I adapters/cables with DVI-D displays since DVI-I can go analog OR digital.

So tell me genious, why is DVI-I sooooo much better than DVI-D again??? Are you telling me NEC is lying when they say their monitor is HDCP compliant??? Are you telling me HP is lying to me because they said my HP w2207 DVI-D only panel is HDCP compliantr? You do realize that I'm typing this on my PC that has HDMI output to my HPw2207 using a HDMI->DVI cable right?

Do some research before speaking out of your @SS!

µCOM-4

Comments on NEC kicks out 26-inch EA261WM LCD monitor with WUXGA resolution

Stop cussing in front of the frog.

MiLK
