Relax, buddy. Yes, I HAVE actually called and spoken to Dell's tech support in India. It was terrible. But nobody is badmouthing the intellect or ability of a trained tech support agent in your country. Unfortunately, Dell seems to prefer handing their "specialists" slips of paper with troubleshooting advice that could just as easily be found using the "help" button in Windows. People in India aren't unintelligent, it's that the people Dell hire from India are unqualified (and I'm sure much cheaper than well trained techs) and unable to really help anyone with advanced tech problems.

The last time I used Dell support I could understand about 1 out of every 10 word the person was saying. In fact, if I didn't have an extremely intimate knowledge of the topic, there would have been no chance of me being able to communicate with her. I am not sure she was from india though, sounded more like Malaysia.

At the moment you have to go for an XPS, vostro, or the 17in inspiron to get a proper graphics chip. Usually it's only an extra $100 more or so for an Nvidia or ATI solution on those models too so there's really no excuse to so severely limit the functionality of your computer by getting an integrated chip. That is EXACTLY the reasons why Steve (blow) Jobs allowed Windows to be loaded in Apple machines. Because he knows that OSX sucks and that he can only sell Apple PC's with only OSX loaded to complete morons.

So, he bamm !!! he facilitated Windows to be able to be loaded on Apple machines and bammmm, there you go!!! An Apple PC running Vista - a proper user friendly operating system. There is no argument here, ipso factum (let the facts speak for themselves - moron !!).

I have some sympathy for those who own Apple PC's (and they are PC's - no different from an IBM) and who run Windows. But really there is no excuse for not buying a Voodoo Envy now or a Dell.
