Not only does it work well, it's worked well for 8 years. My Dyson DC07 sucks better, is quieter, doesn't fill the air with dust, and is easier and cleaner to empty. You switch to solar in a couple decades when it can simply be swapped in.<br><br>You fix problem number two by using a fuel cell hydrogen powerplant.  Large batteries are not required, as electricity is generated on the fly. Seriously, am a big fan of this chap and if there is anyone who could make a viable attempt at a practical eco friendly electric vehicle, he's the man. Did you know there is more than ONE Dyson sold in the UK per housewife? (Or it may be house hold, either way, their market penetration is outstanding.) This is why design is so important. We have three of their vacuums (the ball one, an upright and the hand vac) and they are all excellent at what they do. Their vacuum cleaners are superb. Incredible suction that just keeps going with minimal maintenance, and even the little maintenance you have to do is actually *fun* due to the good engineering. Can they do a good car? In the end, who knows.
