I wonder how many of you complaining about the diluted brand were also the 1s saying the screen size/screen resolution/storage capacity/whatever else of the 701 wasn't enough.

You have 3 options:

Normal laptop, relatively cheap, big with mid-high processing power
Subnotebook, high cost, small, with mid-high processing power
Netbook, cheap-relatively cheap, really small-small with low processing power

You have options in normal laptop and subnotebook categories, Asus has provided all the options in the netbook category.
