I can point out major fail points in the iPhone's camera that prevent it from being significantly useful. No photo editing capabilities (not even cropping), video recording, flash, advanced settings (W/B, manual focus etc.), optical or digital zoom, and so on. My biggest complaint with the small cameras is the lack of zoom which generally seems to be the difference of getting a great composition or not.
