Sony and Apple probably don't want to tarnish their high end images by edging into what is considered a budget segment...and they already have "ultraportables" of their own.  Toshiba Probably doesn't have any real qualms about it, but they already had the Libretto line, so they might prefer to stick with that. <br><br> But if Gateway manages to convince themselves that they can get some of their bygone thunder by joining the royal rumble of netbooks, they just might take a crack at it.<br><br> I could be wrong of course.
