I've been looking through many carputer forums and people have used UMPCs and tablets as HU. My thing is that I don't want something that'll suck up a lot of energy and iPhones are pretty much a miniature Mac. I think it also helps that it's all touchscreen so you don't have keyboard showing. It's phone (bluetooth mic?), GPS and media steamer (external hard drive). I think it'll be neat to be able to get stuff from my home puter via wifi and save it into the external drive (if OS would permit such thing?). Clearly I need to plan a lot more before I do it haha.

This is a project for next March.
