if you have been to the dentist lately...you might know that they use these and it makes it a hell-of a lot easier to, for example, see some tooth decay on your upper right molar. You can see exactly what they are talking about when they say you have a cavity or anything else that you did not know about. Let me see you hold a light in your mouth and check out one of your upper molars or the back sides of some teeth...


As far as seeing around/under doors, it might be useful, but you would have to make sure that this thing will focus farther then a few inches because that is what it is designed to do. I am not sure if it would or not.
