It has hardware RAID, and is in fact plug and play. With an adapter if need be.
And if you want to use it for CF RAID, then they should make this soley for that i.e. no adapters needed. Since they will just add cost big time.

A 3 disk setup would be uber killer. Yeah, I know RAID 5 is slow, but it would be nice to only loose 33% of the disk space.
