Most idiots still complaining about Dell bloatware haven't owned or used a Dell recently.  I've opened up several Dell notebooks at my IT job and only 1-3 minor unwanted apps but that's it.  Makes my IT job easier than before.  The models with the most bloatware are the Inspiron models for home users. I opted of a standard hard drive because it offered more space for GIS applications.  I work out in the field every day .  It handles a lot of jarring without an issue. It doesn't offer as much protection as a Toughbook. But they provide better performance and cost $1300 less.
