Moving sidewalks (pavements..) - Done, it's called a flat escalator!<br><br>2.  Jetpacks - Done plenty of times!<br><br>3.  Hovercraft have existed for a few decades now, and it's possible to build one in your back garden.<br><br>And yep, we laughed at just about everything when it first comes out.  "The Internet" it'll never take off, who'd invest money in that?
