This coming from an XM subscriber.

I have XM and the first gen Slacker Portable. There are far, far too many bugs and problems with the first-gen device to make it a sat-radio killer. Not to mention no live talk content. Even with the smaller, sleeker device - the interface needs a complete overhaul - they should honestly fire the first team and start over from scratch. They are charging $300 for a device that frequently "forgets" network keys, and sometimes takes 10 seconds or more to acknowledge a button press. I wish I could return it....

Eric N.

Comments on Slacker G2 WiFi radio gets more personal thanks to the FCC

Almost forgot - there's currently no Metallica, AC/DC, Beastie Boys, Led Zeppelin, Eagles, etc. etc. heard on the device due to licensing restrictions.

How's that gonna beat sat / terrestrial radio again?

Eric N.

Comments on Slacker G2 WiFi radio gets more personal thanks to the FCC

did the fcc approve this for an impromptu session of broom stick hockey on a lunch break too?

mrpysnik
