Sure the surface looks nice and clean, but as the tooth curves, there's no cleaning action there. Isn't that what the bristles are for? The bristles are meant to get into the grooves in your teeth and between your teeth and gums.  The best this thing could do is polish convex surfaces. Haven't you all seen exactly what they use to "brush" your teeth?  Gee, what's that roundish curved rubbery looking thing that spins.........oh yeah, the dentist's professional teeth cleaning tool.  Granted, they DO floss your teeth with regular floss and then pick at them with that metal tool afterward.  The point here is that, so long as they model this thing after a dentist's tool, there shouldn't be any problem using this to clean your teeth.
