Making the whole case, palm rest, upper casing etc. ALL glossy, that's downright idotic. Friends of mine have a Samsung with a glossy upper side case and they keep the protective foil from the factory still attached at all times so it doesnt get scratched...yeah classy, that looks so much better than having a matte finish without finger prints, scratches and a ducttape to protect it.
