This 'chi' almost certainly sounds like the "chee" in "cheese".<br><br>That being said, fuchi commonly means "ignorance" in Japanese (and can also mean "abyss").  The company is from Taiwan, and I don't know the ideograms for their company name (nowhere on their website), but the name is either ironic or poorly chosen for international business.
