Head Music's Blizzard PMP does the dual headphone thing
Though this isn't the first music player we've seen with dual headphone jacks, it's still one of only a handful available today. Head Music's 4GB Blizzard offers up a rather plain (okay, exceptionally plain) design with a 2.8-inch 320 x 240 touchscreen, FM tuner, rechargeable battery, USB connectivity, microSD slot, twin headphone ports and support for MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, AVI, WMV and MPEG-4 file formats. Word on the street puts a $103 price tag on it, though you'll probably have to hunt high and low to actually find someone selling it.[Via PMPToday]

The twin jack's are just for listening with someone else right? Is there some other use I don't know of yet?
Robustness: if one jack socket breaks, you can still enjoy your music collection.
Gives you twice the sound quality. Don't argue.
for people with 4 ears
Why not just get a wire split, and get a decent player?
Perhaps because most wire splitters split your stereo output into two mono outputs; in otherwords, you're listening to only the right earpiece, your friend the left. This isn't ideal when you're listening to something that uses stereo for effects, like a great deal of music or podcasts.
If you want the full stereo, it's usually with a mini-amplifier built in to make up for the loss of power. This makes it ugly and bulky.
Better to have the option of buying a PMP with 2 outputs from the get-go.
Heh, their naming system is quite interesting. some of their earlier models include "DRIZZLE" "BREEZE" and "BLOW". Well at least they're being honest.
head music... blow... wtf?
Can you imagine walking into your local electronics store and being all like "Hey, you guys know where I can get Blow?"
Why anybody hasn't made a PMP with stereo bluetooth?
My samsung yp-p2 has bluetooth stereo, file transfer and phone calling....
i dunno if its classed as a PMP though.. does that mean "Portable Media Player"? Because it can play AVI files.. you just have to rename them to .svi the samsung equivalent.

For a moment I actually thought this is a Blizzard (the video game studio) mechandise.
