TrekStore intros 32GB vibez DAP, i.Beat organix, nova players

It's been a while since we've seen any new DAPs from TrekStor, but it looks like the company is set to roll into IFA with a brand new batch, including an updated vibez player, and new i.Beat organix and i.Beat nova players. From the looks of it, the vibez is identical to the version we first saw way back in 2006, with the notable exception of a boost to 32GB of flash memory. The tiny i.beat Organix, on the other hand, is now available in 4GB and 8GB versions (and your choice of four colors) and promises a hefty 55 hours of battery life, while the even smaller i.Beat nova comes in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB iterations and packs an OLED display of unspecified size. No word on a release 'round these parts for any of them just yet, but those in Europe can look for them to being available by the end of September with prices ranging from €29 (or about $40) for the lowest-end i.Beat nova to €129 (or $190) for the top end vibez.

it does, but thats about it. if you need 32 gigs you must need it for video because hardly anyone has 32 gigs of music especially on the go. and this screen doesnt look video friendly.
anyone remember their racist mp3 player? the i beat blacks.

The vibez looks sweet

The have the old Rio's software, which was hands down the best mp3 player OS ever.
Tom @ Aug 25th 2008 6:24PM
Specifically the OS/Software developed by the Cambridge team, ie the old empeg-car people. It's good to see a new product using it still, even if it is just a storage bump.
Now that they have a 32gb version, this is tempting to grab to replace my Rio Karma with.

The vibez is a cracking player for music - highly recommended. Only thing missing is a physical hold switch, but otherwise it's top notch.

Does this remind anyone else of the Pacemaker...
Al @ Aug 25th 2008 5:13PM
Yes the original model came out before the pacemaker.

Looks like the 8GB nova comes in at less than $100.
Did I do the math right?

Sounds like a conversation piece.
*sounds of buzzing from ladies' handbag* "Don't worry, that's just my Vibez"
or...
"Hey dude, what phone is that?
"i Beat"
"Thanks for sharing, but what phone is that?"
tkatz111 @ Aug 25th 2008 7:12PM
You know a product is old when it has "Hips Don't Lie" on product images.
Ry @ Aug 25th 2008 7:51PM
Any i.beat blaxx updates?

i love my nano and all, but im the obsessive compulsive type who loathes the fingerprints attracted by the chrome. WHY MUST EVERY MP3 PLAYER HAVE CHROME ON IT
jmzrbnsn @ Aug 25th 2008 8:36PM
@v3xx
I have about 32GB of music and I am never sure what I want to listen to on anyone day, so this would be perfect...
jmzrbnsn @ Aug 25th 2008 8:37PM
any one....opps
Daiwin @ Aug 25th 2008 9:13PM
If you are some one like me and own a net radio station you have more then 32GB of mp3s.
And keeps rising with several I want air time for the varius bands and such.
So for 32GB I would have to choose what mp3's I want on so I don't use up all the space.
But to those that are just the casual music mp3ers this is a nice begginers mp3 player that is a good price too.
I would get one if I did not already have a 30gig Creative Zen.

im a former rio karma owner a current trekstore vibez lover.... it's an amazing mp3 player with many features found on very few/no other mp3 players on the market with active firmware development adding new features all the time. besides a hardware hold switch (mentioned above) i couldnt ask for anything more. i will definitely be picking up 32gb as soon as its released.

Try www.amp3.co.uk ,I'm sure they post internationally and they tell me they're hoping the Vibez ships around xmas,

32GB sounds about perfect to me, and to people who say that's too much space. Well in encode all my music with FLAC, and yes I CAN tell the difference. Spend a few hundred on a decent stereo and you'll notice the difference as well. Vibez looks like what I've been after for.
