Anayway, in general, I think most noise reduction panels out there are just that, cosmetics.

I haven't really noticed too much difference in noise level between my 360 and my PS3, though the circumstances for teh noise are different. The 360 is load anytime that the DVD drive is in use, while the PS# is quite for the first hour it's on then turns into a jet engine until it's turned off long enough to cool back down.
