The 17" iMac uses 63W on FULL ALL OUT CPU burn and only 2W in sleep/stand-by. Not bad next to the "55-watts while in use" and 3W while in sleep of the LoCO2PC, I'd like to know what this "while in use" actually was because (while I could be wrong) "in use" does not normally mean a full out x2 CPU burn.

Are you sure you aren't mentioning an old one? As currently the only ones I can see are 20 and 24" models, and since it says 55 watts for a 3Ghz processor I was comparing it to the 24" iMac which most regularly comes with a 3Ghz chip which consumes around 100 watts total, not completely fair I know because of the extra screen real estate. But even with the same sized screen I'd say it's safe to assume this still consumes 20 or so less watts then an iMac with a 3Ghz processor, as most of the other specs are similar too. They also don't care that within 1-3yrs that 200w PSU won't be able to
power the computer due to capacitor aging, and that due to its lower
quality it will end up shortening the lifespans of the other parts in your
machine before it goes.

Also just cause I have an 850w PSU doesn't mean I am pulling the maximum
amount of power constantly. And the sleep specs are a bit more favorable: The 20" iMac uses less than 2 watts while asleep with Wake On LAN turned off, and 2.37 watts while asleep with it on. (The 24" uses 2.35W and 2.65W for the same conditions.)
