That being said, if someone wanted to buy a Blu-Ray DVD player in the hopes of eventually upgrading their TV, that's what the composites are there for. Future-proofing for when they DO have the TV.

It's located to the lower right of the component jacks.

Yea, I don't understand why they include it, but it's probably because they already have the circuitry for the composite/component outputs, and it's easier to simply reuse it than remove it.
