I've had a Radeon 9200 (still do), and an X1600...and never had a problem even ONCE. I also sadly happen to have an 8600M GT on my MacBook Pro....while it's still a good card, I've noticed a lot of uncalled glitches in games. Same goes with my GeForce 7600GT on my desktop at home. Gaining CrossfireX is important so that all my monitors take advantage of both cards. With my current 1950s, only one screen can take advantage of the two cards (because they only use the older crossfire).  <br><br>The way I see it:<br><br>Crossfire X with 4870s, near $600<br>Crossfire X with 4850s near $400<br>Crossfire X with 4670s near $160 (and you get near the performance of a single 4850)<br><br>Also look, and the diminishing return you get with Crossfire X on the 4850 or 4870 as compared to the 4670... ATi just happens to make the TV Tuner you plug a CableCard into. I was wondering cause i want to build a pc but really will only use the 4650 now and maybe add a 4850 later to it when the time comes. I just tried Bioshock again, and yes, it's worth it to upgrade.  I'm running on the 'high' profile... and I can play this game as it was envisioned... FINALLY.<br><br>*flips 'Geforce 7900GS Go' the bird and kicks sand over it*  It looks like my XPS 410 factory mobo has found the video-card with which it will be buried... unless I can somehow eke better performance out of this little guy in a new rig.<br>]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[sixtyfps]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Sep 16th 2008 3:55AM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
