You have no idea what the MR2 is do you? It was the first midship sports car to go to production in Japan, when Toyota tried to beat Nissan to the punch when the rumored Nissan mid4 was to come out (which they never produced). MR2 is a great pleasure to drive with its 50/50 weight ratio and its light weight body on a RWD drive train.
