Anyway, I have the original iPhone, which I prefer to the 3G from a design perspective. This is the fist device I've seen that interests me from a design point of view since the iPhone. This new phone is gorgeous. Here's to hoping it functions as good as it looks. It's easy to hit the upper right corner of the screen with your thumb on the original Touch, and I image that it'll be about the same on this, though the spread from the top of the screen to the D-pad looks to be a bit too much, though it IS narrower, which might help.

I'm also betting that this will be a lot cheaper than the Touch HD, and sales wise, the original Touch and the Palm Centro have shown there's a real market for devices in this space. Coupling that with slightly pared down version of the Diamond's TouchFlo is an awesome move on HTCs part.
