It runs at 1.5mbit down 256k up (theoretically)

In reality it runs at around 700k down and i haven't tested the up speed yet.

It varies greatly on the modem position.

I bought it because I move alot and can't wait for a DSL hook up every 4 months. I think I am in a very small market tbh, as this modem is far too big to be 'portable' in the sense than a cellphone is 'portable'

I wish I coulda gotten my hands on one of this babies though.

One of the most valuable things about the whole deal is the fact that, if i really wanted to, I could take the modem with me and get access anywhere. people who cheer about LTE don't know what their talking about. it's al in the definition 'Long Term Evolution', what is that? it's certainly not a protocol or network or something real. let's al cheer for 'future' and say it's better than 'now'????

sales: good day sir, how do want your internet access; DSL, Wimax or HSDPA?
prospect: no i want Long Term Evolution
sales: what is that sir?
customer: uhm, the evolution?
sales: the evolution of what sir? how fast is it? what network or protocol is it? how can we measure this , and what's the product sir?
