SD cards have been notably cheaper than memory sticks in the past. I recall when the psp first came out memory sticks were alot more expensive than SD cards even at lower memory sizes. Fast forward a few years later and the psp has helped spread adoption of the format and thus SD and Memory stick prices are almost equal. ALMOST. Just remember Sony always charges a premium for their products. Does it make it superior? no. Is it a pain in the ass to have many kinds of  formats? yes. But is the competition good? Although I'm referring to the read speeds, not the write speeds, but it doesn't take hours to write to mine. Where as you'll see lots of ebay guys selling them as class 4, when there isn't a 16gb microsdhc class 4 yet! So becareful, when buying, speed does matter as well.<br><br>I myself have picked up a sandisk 8GB class 6, cheaply!<br><br>As for those who wonder about SDHC / microsdhc, if your device can handle SDHC / microSDHC then it will be able to handle 32GBs if and when they come out! So if your device can handle 4GB SDHC/microSDHC then it will be able to handle 32GBs.
