I think that's the problem, people don't do their research and see that the meat industry is more cruel than anything they can imagine. And they don't realize that it's bad for the inviroment. (It takes massive amounts of food and water to keep all those animals)

It is not the meat industry that is bad for the ENVIORNMENT, it is the consumption rates in the United States that affects it.

Besides odds are this was some meat that had gone bad/could no longer be sold and the guy was like, better not WASTE the meat, we should put it to use.
