The sound quality is delightful, not quite up to par with my home set up, but very respectable nonetheless. I am looking forward to hearing some first hand impressions of SQ through this wireless attachment. $120 is quite a bit of money to make listening to music more convenient so any sound quality drop would be quite a blow especially when an average portable media player + these headphones would run around $500 already.

Abesamis

Comments on KLEER wireless attachment comes to Sleek Audio's SA6 canalphones

Are you using these for working out? However I have found that because of the detachable cable (it allows the cable to pivot to different angles when coming out of the earpiece) it allows the user to wear the earphones in different positions. One where the cable simply hangs down from the ear and the second where the cable wraps up and around the ear. What I have found is that when you use the second position it affects 5 things: 1) It increases the security of the IEM's in your ear making them much harder to yank out by regular usage. 2) Makes the seal of the IEM's more reliable because small yanks no longer pull the IEM directly out of your ear, but puts more of the pressure on your ear. This helps sound quality because with IEM's seal quality is very important for it to sound correct. 3) Decreases the mechanical sounds you hear such as wind blowing the cable or the cable rubbing across your shirt. 4) Makes the IEM's much more difficult and time consuming to put in (unless I am just fail at wrapping cables around my ear). 5) May question the structural integrity of your ears if a strong force pulls on the cable. I cringe when I think about what could happen to my poor ear if this happens D=.

For clarification about the two positions you can wear these headphones in please refer to this image: http://doctorhead.ru/images/misc/Sleek-Audio-SA6-in-ear.jpg
The top part of the image is position I am discussing earlier in my comment.

@Jinto:
Honestly yes! Outside of the wire snapping I see very few things that could go wrong while exercising with these and Sleek Audio has that covered because the cable is easily replaced o_O.

SnugglyFoo

Comments on KLEER wireless attachment comes to Sleek Audio's SA6 canalphones

Sorry for the confusion, but SnugglyFoo is another name I post on.

Abesamis

Comments on KLEER wireless attachment comes to Sleek Audio's SA6 canalphones

Thanks a lot for taking the time to reply to my message. What kind of wireless are they using? Bluetooth? If that's the case, then one still won't get CD qulity because of the way bluetooth compresses audio signals. If they use a different type of wireless, then they still won't be useable with anything other than portable audio players that have wi-fi built in...which isn't that many. Sounds like the industry needs to decide on wi-fi or bluetooth.

jeff

Comments on KLEER wireless attachment comes to Sleek Audio's SA6 canalphones

Jeff,

These use KLEER technology, which is th same the Seinhesser $600 wireless earphones use.
