You are the idiot. Dormitories for Chinese workers are a government requirement in most cases, as the workers are typically from remote provinces and will work at the factory for a few years and send money back home.

Secondly...why the hell do you think pics leak from China all the time? It's because it *is* relatively easy to swipe products...especially if you don't leave the factory grounds. Factories typically have a campus-style setup, with guards and gates going in, but inside, security can be more lax. So for someone to take this to their dormitory is mch more feasible.

The massive production units that need to be delivered won't allow it. That is why people are speculating it to be some innovative process, because no one can figure out how that's possible. Yes, it can be done. But, the ways we know of that it can be made, can't be reasonable for a mass product. So there must be some new process that allows this to happen at mass production level, and at a per unit cost low enough to not hike up the cost of the end product's predecessor.
