You know what would be even easier, instead of 19 million people (the pop of Australia) having to google for their timezone. One person taking 5 seconds to type it in.

To the people thinking Macs are overpriced in Australia. They are SLIGHTLY more than their American counterparts, if you consider economies of scale, etc etc. You should be glad Apple even sell Macs in Australia we have such a low population. I've used tablet PCs before, and other than specialty applications (dr. office, etc), and giving presentations, I found little use for them.

I would really like to hear some specifics as to why these are desired. I've tried photoshop and your finger is not accurate enough, and a stylus just doesn't seem to work as well as a mouse. Handwritten notes are hit or miss, I'd rather just type them.

As much as I don't have any problems with Windows, I hear that Photoshop on OSX just runs faster compared to the Windows version when running at similar CPU speeds. Supposedly OSX manages RAM better cuz my PC just comes to a complete crawl when editing 16 bit TIFFs after running 5 actions on 5-6 images. I gotta reboot to get my performance back. I have 4GB and it just doesn't seem to be enough!! Instead of going to 8GB, I figure I'd try Mac.
