Video: XM Radio's XMp3 interface shown off
We knew XM Radio's XMp3 handheld was on sale and shipping, but if you've been holding back and patiently waiting for some live video action of the UI before biting, have a gander at this. One xzitony managed to acquire the new Pioneer-built device and take it for a spin, but rather than just keeping it all to himself, he decided to host up a six minute clip walking us through the user interface. There are just no words to express our gratitude, but you can leave your thanks on his YouTube page after peeping the vid just past the break.

question is can it play best of sirius?
xzitony @ Oct 13th 2008 8:23PM
Yes, it does Best of SIRIUS, I have it. I should have shown that better in the video, but it might be in there for a split second.

I love XM 48 Squizz!
I have had XM since 2005 and I love it. I think this is great, because XM in your car only sucks!
Valgas @ Oct 13th 2008 8:02PM
I'd buy that for a dollar.
Murphy Mac @ Oct 13th 2008 9:03PM
That same dollar will get you about two shares of the stock.

Finally we can confirm XM > Sirius.
All the Stern fans............ (i cant understand why any of them are left) can get better signal, hardware and in my opinion better music programming on one device. But it doesnt stop there.
XM with Best of Sirius offers everything a sports fan would want. MLB (only sport that works on radio IMO), NFL, Nascar, NHL, NBA, College Sports, PGA on one service.
Too bad that "better music programming" will end when the Sirius exec's turn into FM like crap to cut costs.

The interface is slick, but these portable players always have a shitty screen.
LordJezo @ Oct 14th 2008 8:15AM
Does it offer an instant rewind feature to let me listen to the same song over and over?
Holaatchabwoy @ Oct 15th 2008 1:30PM
But does it actually get good signal? the other handhelds had TERRIBLE signal EVERYWHERE....even with the home antenna
