Reminds me of the "Unsharp Mask" filter in Photoshop. Don't most HDTVs have sharpness setting built in anyways? The laservue makes everything look in focus which is unnatural and causes the eyes confusion as to what they are supposed to be focusing on. Or the Pio removes half of the detail, which I find extremely unlikely.<br><br>Clearly one would need to see these two beasts side-by-side with identical Blu-ray players and cables to get an opinion of which one's the best.
