meaning they don't use a lot prioritary components

i have an hp laptop with nvidia chiset and graphics nividia doesn't support it becuz it was a chip set develop for hp and hp exclusively so hp has to support it and they don't hardly every

but i do have asus laptop as wel with nividia chip in
and i never been to asus web sight to update my driver i just get them right from nivida the same with network card the intel chipset and wirless card

the same is also true for my sony laptop

i am willing to bet u could the same

the originals were G50V laptops, current ones are G50Vt

also, as noted below, the one at best buy has a 9800m gs with 1gb dedicated ddr3...for the same price.
thats a hell of a gpu in there. also comes with the p8400, 320gb hdd (specs say 7200rpm, but im not entirely sure) and 4 gb ddr2

also, most people dont know this but these laptops have a second hdd bay built and and the bios supports raid 1/raid 0 when a second hdd is detected. for 1249 USD this is a great laptop.

only warning: i had the g50v, and that got VERY hot, so i wouldn't use it as a "lap"top, more like a mobile desktop.
