Still wish they'd bring out a wireless adapter in black so that i don't have a little white box that looks like a stationary rubber stuck to the back of my Xbox Elite.

First of all, the wifi adapter is bullshit. 360 is the only system on the block without built in WiFi. This was forgivable at launch, but I expected the "pro" to do better than that.

Its bad enough that the redesigned 360's lack of HDDVD built in basically decided the outcome of the format war between HDDVD and Blu Ray.

But what pisses me off is that the Adapter is still $99. I got it for $89 + tax in 2006. Now I can't use it because it doesn't work with my Verizon Actiontech Router for FIOS. Besides, what about Nintendo? No way in hell am i spending even $30 just to connect my wii to the interwebs because I use ethernet for everything, thats more ass-backwards than not including wi-fi in my book

For most people out there coming across that much ethernet without paying hundreds of dollars just isn't possible. Sure, lots of us (myself included) know a guy or have access to make any length cable we want, but have you ever gone into a big box retailer and seen the price of those cables? It's absurd! For the price of 1 100' cable you could buy a box of 1000 feet, and the crimping tool, and the connectors. I have some tipe for you... The Wireless Adapter does indeed work w/FiOS ActionTec Router. I have had FiOS for about 2 years now and I have used it with the old and new smaller ActionTec router.
