Wonder if anyone got it to work in 3g yet, seems like most of the people who tested it don't have 3g. Definitely looks like it's possible for a developer to make it a lot more polished given they also make the necessary desktop component to make it work.<br><br>It has to go through the Usb debugging mode to work so there is some possibility of Google locking it down after an update. I have a T-Mobile Wing, and while it's only EDGE, I have a Windows Mobile program to turn it into a Wifi router so that any WiFi capable device, say a WiFi SD card for my camera, or a Nintendo DS, can access the data connection. I had a T-Mobile branded WinMo phone (the Dash) that came with Tethering software preinstalled and instructions on how to use it included in the box.<br><br>That said, I doubt I'll bother setting it up on the G1. I've been doing this for 2 years with my Nokia E50 via Bluetooth.  Any modern cellphone which doesn't permit wireless tethering is garbage.  It's pretty sad that the "open" G1 turns out to be so closed without modification.
