Other smart phones are a lot easier to swap batteries on and in fact a lot of the older WinMo models use to have docks that would allow you to charge a secondary battery. Zak may not be an Apple fanboy, he may detest Apple more than Fusion, but what Zak is saying, is for people to stop reading articles they don't care about (specifically Apple articles) and then complain about them.  Don't read it if you don't care.<br><br>Engadget posts articles.  If you haven't noticed, Apple is a big player the market these days.  I don't like it, but I welcome the info, because I, like many others, come to Engadget to know whats happening in the Tech world.  If someone has solved a problem that Apple overlooked, then it should be known. Not to mention the fact that you would be able to have your iPhone on you 24/7 (you wouldn't have to leave it to charge, just the backup battery). When a bunch of my friends got the 3G they all went out and got cases.  I prefer to leave mine, how do you say au naturale.  What's the point of owning that super-skinny phone if it's twice as thick now?<br><br>This could go a long way if Apple wants to market this thing as a gaming/multimedia device as well. The rubber makes it grippy, it looks cool thanks to the patterns in the rubber, the buttons and I/O cuttouts etc are perfectly alligned and it just seems well thought out.<br><br>We the Touch as a sales tool (photo, video playback), but the reason we didn't choose an iPhone is the battery life that would have meant it dying 1/4 of the way through the day. However, with one of these Power Sliders, we could re-think that decision.
