Flash memory is rapidly expanding and dropping in price extremely quickly. Bluray disks dont seem to be doing the same. In a few quarters to a year (4x2=8, 8x2=16,16x2=32) we will have 32-64GB flash drives under $10, which can easily fit any movie.

Not preaching that this is the way to distribute. I'm just asking, was Bluray really the smart way to turn for "next gen" media?

Linux is module based.
