Maybe it's just me and the fact that it's nearly two in the morning, but none of the engadget articles (nor the links that they reference) state the Nokia specs that you are stating. Not even the video posted in the linked article shows copy and paste. You must be thinking of another phone.

Say what you will about Job's smugness, but realize this: Apple has accomplished what it has set out to do - make itself different from Microsoft. That appeals to people, and they become the fanboys you so deride. Because of these fanboys, Apple will have a stable share in the computer marketplace for at least a few more years, while garnering a majority of the mp3/smartphone market.

Love 'em or loathe 'em, Apple's at the top. Can you blame them for being smug?

I honestly think that Nokia needs to work on their publicity more. And for the last bit, when was the last time you didn't see copy and paste on an S60 flagship device? Especially one with a QWERTY keyboard? Hell, even Nokia's non-S60 internet tablets (which this device takes nearly all of its design cues from) have copy and paste.

I agree! Although, that's only really true for North America. Nokias are so commonplace the moment I cross the Atlantic.

Last time I checked, they cost (on AT&T): $200 + (24*$30).

If this phone goes on sale at $550, then it will cost $10 less than the iPhone 3G ($550+(24*$15)). How come no one remembers AT&T data plans cost half as much for unlocked Nokia phones?
