Sure it's nice to have a small LED projector and I'm all for that but 15 luments and 640 x 480 resolution is more like a blast from the past. ( all pun intended ) The projector is really unsuitable for business presentations and with a low resolution like that you won't be using it for multimedia either. So what exactly is the target consumer base?

cg0def

Comments on Adtec announces two adorable, tiny projectors

Awww.... This has been a frustration of mine as well. To get anything in native HD resolution and format, you have to pay quite a bit. An example is the Mitsubishi HD8000. 5000 lumens, full 1080p, but still only 1000:1 contrast ratio. Even when compared to the native contrast ratio of most LCD/Plasma display (not the inflated "dynamic" ratio) this is quite low. The price? $15K. I can buy several brighter appearing, higher contrast ratio LCD TV's for that much.

m0j0man

Comments on Adtec announces two adorable, tiny projectors

He didn't say anything about native HD. He posted this in response to a pico projector. There are plenty of affordable living room projectors out there. I've had a 720p Hitachi for over a year and it's awesome.
