The eye has to be taken out at night to be recharged, unless you want a cable in your eye.
The battery is non-removable so that gaps won't hurt your insides.
A battery costs $100 due to the size, and for it to be large enough, your brain will have to be pushed back about 2 inch to make room...
The eye will, clearly, be removable for charging/software updates. It will be white, and made by Apple for design. The iris will be in the form of an apple someone disliked and threw it away after a bite.

I had a 3mp camera once. It was literally the size of a deck of cards without the box. It ran for a whole day of taking pictures before the battery died. It used a 1GB SD card which amounted to around 300 pictures of my tom-foolery with mah friends at the amusement park.

THIS WAS 5 years ago! All of the components in that could be/are already shrunk down to ridiculous sizes.
