Most POS (piece of S) batteries hardly last the 1 year. Use your brain, throw in some originality. Do you just camp engadget..waiting for a new post so you can quickly throw in a "first post", or a "will it blend", or a "but can it play crysis?". Anyways, sorry about my rant, back to the topics;<br><br>While it is nice that the battery will last 3 years (not nice, but Great! actually), I wish they had extended how long it would last in hours as well. I'm assuming just like the standard hp batteries, this will give a life of 2.5-3.5 hours. C'mon companies, we gotta reach that 5 hour mark without having a giant bulge sticking out of our laptops. Even the press release barely mentions the technology way at the bottom.  There is a bunch of green BS though.  Li-ion is pretty green all by it self.
