My reasons are reasonably sound. Firstly, Boot Camp is a colossal pain in the backside because it gives you an extra OS to manage, munches a good 30GB of drive space (important if you are a laptop user like myself) and rebooting and restarting applications just takes too long. The memory management in OS X is excellent so unless you have an application running that is consuming CPU time in the background then you can happily run games without the need to quit existing programs. Finally, I want to see more games coming to the Mac so that is clearly not going to happen without supporting the developers investing time in the platform today.

However, I will note that I only buy native Mac OS ports of games and not ones that are using the TransGaming Cider system since the performance of those really is rubbish. Titles by Aspyr are a bit hit and miss (the Call Of Duty games and Quake 4 seem to work fine for me) and Blizzard's titles are always excellent on the Mac.

Kelmon

Comments on

Yes, It support Mac OS X 10.4 and later
http://www.bestdealsonar.com/award-winning-logitech-g13-gaming-keyboard/

G13 is Winner of the CES 2009 Design and Engineering Award: Best of Innovations in Electronic Gaming.

Tony

Comments on

Playing WOW with joystick finally makes sense.

Gunn

Comments on

As long as you're right handed.

jay.viz

Comments on

I don't know... the joystick looks like it would fit to the thumb of the left hand....unless I misunderstood what you're implying by saying right handed.

Right-Handed

Comments on

I'd be very interested in meeting the contortionist who could find a way to use this left-handed...

Salsa Shark

Comments on

Looks like the thumbstick part may be removable so it could be moved to the other side for lefties

grinder

Comments on

If the pics are accurate, particularly the underside pic, which makes it look like the thumb pad is actually not symmetric, then my guess is it is not swappable for lefties (who would mouse with their left hand and use the gamepad with their right).
