Look at the pictures on the other sites, they look nothing like the picture above. This is exactly the same size, 9.8 x 7.2 x 1.1 inches, as the S10, and the bezel is VERY thick. So its just a cheap screen. And you can get the S10, in colors other than black even, at various sites including newegg.com for $349.00 with free shipping.

$350 for an S10 is a great price. And the Lenovo Ideapad S series are noteworthy since they are the only netbooks with ExpressCard slots. And they're relatively thin. But the keyboard is so-so (still with the crappy right shift key) and the expansion less than other models like the Dell Mini 9.

If you want an 8.9" netbook, the Dell is quite a bit smaller than this, 3/4" smaller on width, half an inch on length, though its a little thicker (for no good reason). Keyboard is worse of course, but that's because its actually an 8.9" netbook.

Fanfoot

Comments on Lenovo Ideapad S9 available now in US

S10 rules!
