We know a lot of you have been curious to see what's going on inside Engadget's sweet doublewide CES trailer, but we were so busy covering the news this week we just didn't have time to give anyone a peek until now. It seems Engadget does not properly represent the real world of computer users..

We real gadget lovers know we don't want to be limited to a Mac.... this video obviously shows Engadget employees are not really geeks at all...

While Engadget is interesting and one of my favorite blogs, I'd like to see some insight from some real nerds... not wannabes...

Welcome to 2008, when owning a Mac is cool. We know your travels from 1995 have been harrowing. Sit down. Have some water. See, Mac OS X is *nix operating system with a pretty GUI. It's stable, it has cool apps, and it has all the power you need. It makes Linux look like a half-finished shed and Windows like a Tonka toy. It sits on the world's most well-constructed and pretty laptops. The only reason not to own one is cost.

They weren't advertising macbooks, they were just working; it's a good computer for what they do. No matter what engadget uses people would make a big deal about it. get over it. half of the laptops you see on tv shows and movies are macbooks.
