50 miles???? WTF? Did not the Toyota RAV4 EV go at least 100 miles on nickle metal hydried ( I know that is spelled wrong) batteries back in the 90's? As did the EV1? I think even on lead-acid batteries, they could go 50 miles...almost two decades ago!

This pisses me off. The reason Detroit does not wan these 100% EV cars on the road is that they make no money on after market parts and they don't know how to adapt.

It gets 55 mpg (or 5.5 liters/100km) and has emissions on par with a hybrid due to the small 1-liter engine (which is just peppy enough for the car's size). Also very roomy inside for a small car. Great little city car!!
